Women Who Wander Scholarship

In 2010, my passion for cultures ignited when I embarked on a life-changing study abroad journey in Costa Rica. Little did I know that this would be the first of two incredible opportunities to immerse myself in different countries. While exploring diverse cultures, I discovered the remarkable uniqueness of my Louisiana Creole heritage. This eye-opening experience taught me the invaluable lesson that understanding and appreciating other cultures enhances our appreciation for our own. In 2015, I took action by establishing the Women Who Wander scholarship, dedicated to funding the travel adventures of a deserving female Louisiana college student.
