Head of Marketing & Communications, Americas
JANUARY 2022 - PRESENT
In January 2022, I returned to DB Schenker, stepping into the role of Head of Marketing and Communications for the Americas. Covering North America, Latin America, and the Caribbean, I lead a dedicated team of seven and collaborate with three external agencies. Together, we navigate a diverse landscape that spans public relations, executive and internal communications, digital and content marketing, as well as social media. Within the first six months of my return, we launched a social media campaign that garnered over $1 million in earned media— a testament to the power of teamwork and strategic planning.
Our collective focus is crafting holistic marketing and communication strategies that resonate across 10 countries and in four languages. This involves promoting brand visibility, penetrating new markets, and engaging customers in meaningful ways. During the pivotal acquisition of USA Truck, I had the honor of steering the communications, ensuring that messaging was seamless and the integration smooth.
In 2023 alone, our efforts paid off with over $15 million in earned media coverage, amplifying DB Schenker's brand across diverse media platforms. On the event front, I oversee the strategy and execution for more than 20 industry events annually, all designed to further establish our brand in the marketplace.
But it's not all about growth and visibility. Part of my role is safeguarding the company's reputation, so I've put into place crisis communications protocols that help us manage and mitigate risks effectively. As the chief custodian of DB Schenker's brand in the region, my aim is to ensure that our communications are consistent, our messaging is aligned, and our brand values are reflected at every touchpoint.
It's a multi-faceted role, but one that I embrace wholeheartedly, fortified by an incredible team and a shared vision for what DB Schenker can achieve in the Americas.
Social Media Manager, Americas

I joined the DB Schenker team in May 2018 as the Social Media Manager for the Americas Region, a position that brought with it the responsibility for 10 countries and communications in three different languages. During this enriching experience, I had the opportunity to manage international social media campaigns, collaborate with global colleagues, and conduct interviews with influential figures from both the corporate and governmental sectors. This role was enjoyable and highly educational, providing me with invaluable insights into the nuances of B2B marketing.
